Behind the Music Live brings you an exclusive songwriter showcase featuring Craig Gleason, Heidi Huelskoetter,  Jamie Saylor and Wyatt Espalin— four acclaimed artists with deep ties to the Nashville music scene and beyond.

This unique event blends live performances with storytelling, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration behind the songs. Whether you’re a music lover, a fan of great storytelling, or simply looking for a magical night out, this event is not to be missed!

Meet the Artists

Craig Gleason

Craig Gleason is a seasoned performer and songwriter with a gift for storytelling. He has worked with top industry professionals and performed at iconic venues, including The Fox Theatre. A dedicated mentor at Zac Brown’s Camp Southern Ground, Craig collaborates with U.S. veterans, helping them share their stories through song. His music blends heartfelt lyrics with a rich, emotional sound that resonates deeply with audiences.

Heidi Huelskoetter

Heidi Huelskoetter is a Nashville music veteran, having been a signed artist and songwriter with PolyGram Publishing and Radney Foster. Her music blends Americana and Country storytelling, creating songs that are both melodically moving and deeply personal. Beyond performing, Heidi has spent 30 years as a Master Vocal Coach at Jan Smith Studios, mentoring artists across all genres. She is currently working on a new EP produced by Grammy-winning producer Don McCollister. Heidi is also a songwriter at Zac Brown’s Camp Southern Ground, where she writes with veterans.

Jamie Saylor

Jamie Saylor is a songwriter’s songwriter, delivering an energetic blend of soulful Southern drawl, Appalachian grit, and raw emotion. His music career was inspired by the loss of his brother in Iraq, leading him to use songwriting as a form of healing. For six years, he has written with veterans at Zac Brown’s Camp Southern Ground. Jamie has opened for Big & Rich, Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blessed Union of Souls, and more. His songs have been featured in films, including Innocent Kiss starring Burt Reynolds, and recorded by top artists like Chancey Williams, iHeartRadio’s 2022 Rocky Mountain CMA Entertainer of the Year.

Wyatt Espalin

An award‑winning Appalachian singer‑songwriter and fiddler originally from North Georgia, Wyatt blends heartfelt folk storytelling with rich acoustic melody. Raised growing up on a rustic campground by his grandparents, he brings a deeply personal touch to his music, combining fiddle and voice in a reflective Americana style. Wyatt won the 2014 L.E.A.F. Festival New Song Competition and has performed at events like Telluride, Rocky Mountain Folks, and Eddie’s Attic
