Join Autrey Mill Nature Preserve Naturalists for a guided hike through the forest trails of our preserve. Along the way, you’ll uncover the delicate balance of the forest ecosystem while passing by remnants of the past.
Together, we’ll explore how native plants support wildlife, how streams and wetlands keep the forest healthy, and why invasive species and erosion management are vital for long-term preservation. We’ll also discuss how well-designed trails protect sensitive habitats while allowing people to enjoy nature responsibly.
By the end of the hike, you’ll come away with a deeper appreciation of the interconnected systems that make a forest thrive—and the role a preserve plays in protecting these natural spaces for generations to come.
