Earth Day Celebration
Join us from 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, April 24th for an Earth Day Celebration! Autrey Mill will be hosting several earth and water related activities around the preserve. Learn about composting, recycling, and conservation! Participants will also learn about Autrey Mill’s local flora and fauna. This will be a family event and all are welcome!
Feeding Fridays
Guests get a hands-on opportunity to learn the husbandry techniques for Autrey Mill’s animals. We feed the snakes, turtles, frogs, rabbits, ducks, and chickens. Register today.
Family Night Hikes
Learn about Georgia native wildlife while exploring the forests of Autrey Mill. Then join us by the campfire to make s’mores. Bring a flashlight! Registration required. This is a “parent and me” experience. Night hikes will be from 8:00pm to 9:30pm. $5 per person, $3 for members. Please register every member of your party.
Goat Walking Classes
Learn about goat husbandry and take our furry friends for a walk! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you are interested, please contact our Conservation Educator to schedule a time: jessica.legato@autreymill.org $50 program minimum, covers up to 5 participants, an additional $10 for each extra participant. Please register every member of your party.
Sunday Socials
A place for everyone to gather! Join heritage staff on the front porch of one of our historic buildings for an open house and participate as we make a vintage craft! A free and family-friendly program! Offered every Sunday. Children are welcome but please note this is a “grown-up and me” experience. Click here for more information.
Rock Art
Paint a rock and add it to our community snake sculpture! Our amazing sculpture is here to stay! You can add your painted rock to the snake at any time during Autrey Mill’s regular hours. Free to participate. Click here for more information.
