Name: Where

Species: Eastern Box Turtle

About: ‘Where’ is the box turtle that has the shell with the most square shape to it! He is the second-largest male and he has the largest beak out of all of the box turtles. His eyes are a very bright scarlet and he has some pretty orange patterns on his skin. He is often found stomping around the food bowl looking for his next snack. He has a big appetite to fit his big beak!

Nature Preserve Grounds: 8am to 9pm

Visitor Center and Farm Musuem Open: Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday 12 pm to 4 pm. Closed Mondays. The grounds, trails, and outdoor animals are able to be visited daily from 8 am to 9 pm.

Closed on major holidays and access may be restricted during events, programs, and summer camp.
It is free to visit. Donations are appreciated.
