Name: Squishy
Species: Spiny Softshell Turtle
About: Squishy is our 11-year-old Spiny Softshell turtle and our most mysterious animal ambassador. He is often hard to catch a glimpse of, and when you do it is usually just his head popping out of the sand. During the night, he comes out to play! Squishy has a special rock that is smooth and green. Each night he pops out of the sand and swims around his enclosure playing with his rock. We wonder what else he may be hiding in his sand!
