The beautiful Autrey Mill you see today is the result of 30+ years of dedicated work by a community-founded volunteer non-profit organization. Our organization not only operates the preserve and historic buildings but also provides incredible environmental, heritage, and event programming for the public. Every person involved, from welcoming visitors to caring for the animals, is either a dedicated volunteer or is employed by the non-profit. We receive assistance from the City of Johns Creek for general maintenance of the buildings and trails and limited funds for animal display improvements. The gardens, animal care, and programs are all funded and run through the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve Association, a non-profit 501(c)(3). Autrey Mill relies on donations, grants, business sponsorships, memberships, and volunteer labor to continue our vital work. We hope to see you soon enjoying the gardens, touring one of our historic buildings or hiking the trails!
. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Autrey Mill depends on donations, grants, business sponsorships, membership, and volunteer labor.
