WILD ABOUT AUTREY MILL has been rescheduled for September 19th, 2020
Last year, Autrey Mill Nature Preserve celebrated spring and Earth Day with Wild About Autrey Mill, an evening fundraiser filled with entertainment, food and drink. Wild About Autrey Mill returns Saturday, September 19th and we encourage you, our supporters, to join us.
We hope that you will join us in celebrating “Butterflies, Botanicals, and All Things Wild About Autrey Mill” within our beautiful 46-acre nature preserve! It will be a light-hearted evening featuring local food and beverages, entertainment including a live band, a silent auction and much more. A limited number of tickets will be available for $30 per person now. Price of tickets will increase to $40 per person on August 1. Ticket price includes entry to the event, dinner & and an assortment of beverages including beer and wine. Funds raised by the event will enable our non-profit to expand programming and services, add animal ambassadors to our collection, and continue to staff an open Visitor Center and Farm Museum at no cost to the public visitors.
Please join us and come out and have a wild time!
We are asking area businesses to support this unique event by becoming a corporate sponsor or by donating items for our silent auction. You will be making a tax-deductible contribution, your business will be thanked on the event program and on our website, and merchandise or services you donate will be displayed during the event
Mayor of Johns Creek Mike Bodker, State Treasurer Lynne Riley, and State Representative Angelika Kausche, have agreed to serve as Honorary Co-Chairs of the event, confirming their strong support of Autrey Mill.
Lynne Riley, State Treasurer, Georgia
“As a place of beauty and tranquility nestled in our lively community, Autrey Mill provides the citizens of Johns Creek with a setting to reflect on our heritage and learn more about our natural environment.”
Angelika Kausche, State Representative, Georgia House District 50
“Autrey Mill Nature Preserve is a hidden treasure in Johns Creek, a place where history and nature meet to create a unique learning environment. I love the historic buildings in the heritage village and the stories that they tell of our community’s long gone farming roots. One of my favorite pastimes is taking my dog on a relaxing stroll through the beautiful wetlands and hardwood forests.”
Please consider joining our co-chairs and support our educational programming either by becoming a sponsor or donating a silent auction item. Please see the Silent Auction Donation and Sponsorship Acceptance forms for more information. Your tax-deductible financial and in-kind donations allow us to fulfill our mission “To create a destination and educational resource that inspires exploration, appreciation, and preservation of the natural environment and local history.”
Please SAVE THE DATE Saturday, September 19th, 2020. We hope you will join us for another spectacular celebration of All Things Wild at Autrey Mill.
