June 10th at 7pm Autrey Mill Nature Preserve Presents: Wyatt Espalin at the first Summerour House Concert.
Once a month, Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center, a beautiful not-for-profit park right in Johns Creek, makes a magical transformation into a beautiful concert setting featuring offering intimate concerts inside the (air conditioned) Summerour House by some of the Atlanta area’s finest musicians. Gorgeous park setting, an intimate, candlelit concert environment, wonderful acoustics and a chance to make a difference by helping to support this beautiful place that is Autrey Mill- come on out!
Wyatt Espalin is an award-winning songwriter based in Hiawassee, GA. He spent years in Nashville honing his unique songwriting and storytelling. His live performance is filled with witty stories from his upbringing in a North GA Appalachain town on a campground owned by his grandparents where Wyatt would perform for the campers. He is a Georgia-state buckdancing champion and his trio performs his haunting songs with a hint of bluegrass, folk and traditional country.
He has had the privilege of opening for and sharing the stage with Indigo Girls, Patty Loveless, Ricky Skaggs, Shawn Mullins, Chely Wright, Michelle Malone, Jennifer Knapp & Randall Bramblett just to name a few.
Wyatt has placed as a finalist in the Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, New Song Regionals and Merlefest Chris Austin Songwriting Competitions and won first place in the L.E.A.F. presents the New Song Competition. Check out some of his work by visiting: Wyatt Epalin.
7:00pm TICKET CHECK-IN begins Online ticket check-in and at-door ticket at the Summerour House. Inside we offer a variety of light desserts, coffee, and tea.
8:00pm CONCERT in the Summerour House ballroom – a historic, intimate indoor air-conditioned venue with wonderful acoustics.
